The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa Celebrated Global Running Day with a Scenic Run through Tranquil Trails

In celebration of Global Running Day on 7th June 2023, guests and associates were invited to invigorate their minds and body with a scenic run followed by a series of activities. The morning kicked off with instructor-led stretching exercises, targeting specific muscle groups throughout the body to minimise post-exercise muscle soreness, followed by the highlight of the Global Running Day, a leisurely 5KM run. The run began at the resort’s main entrance to the monumental Eagle Square – an icon of Langkawi that describes the true origin of its name. Participants ran with the RunWESTIN Concierge, and the route taken embarks them on an educational journey through Langkawi’s mystiques, legends, and histories at the outdoor museum of Lagenda Park.
