Shangri-La KL Brings In Chef Akutsu Yoshiya For Exclusive Teppanyaki Experience

Zipangu by Nadaman at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, is thrilled to introduce guest chef Akutsu Yoshiya, the head chef from Nadaman Tokyo, Japan. From May 18 to 30, 2024, Chef Akutsu will showcase his expertise in Teppanyaki cuisine, promising guests an extraordinary culinary journey.

With over 40 years of experience, Chef Akutsu is renowned for his mastery of Teppanyaki. Guests can look forward to indulging in signature creations such as Teppanyaki Lobster with Sea Urchin Sauce, paired with fresh Sea Urchin and Truffle, and the exquisite Teppanyaki A5 Japanese Black Wagyu Sirloin and Tenderloin, expertly complemented with seasonal vegetables.

For a truly special experience, don’t miss the exclusive 4-Hands dinner set menu on May 24 and 25, featuring a collaboration between Zipangu’s Head Chef Takizawa and Chef Akutsu.

Sake Sommelier Danny Leong will lead a sake pairing session, enhancing the culinary journey with perfectly matched flavors. The 4-Hands dinner set menu is priced at RM740 for dinner alone and RM920 with Sake pairing.
