Puncak Niaga Lands RM47 Million Contract For Water Treatment Plant In Kelantan

Puncak Niaga has landed a sub-Contract agreement with Pembinaan Era Dinamik Sdn Bhd for a water treatment plant and upgrading working Gua Musang, Kelantan worth RM47 million.

The scope of work includes the construction and completion of the Raw Water Intake Station and Low Weir. Raw water intake station with a capacity of MLD water extraction from Sungai Ketil. Construction of a 10 MLD WTP complete with treated water pumping facilities. Construction of an aerator, flocculation and sedimentation tank, filtration plant, clear water tank, chemical house, treated water pumping station, administration building, staff quarters, sludge treatment facilities, and
other associated work. The new access road to raw water intake system. Refurbishment of Reinforced Concrete (“RC”) ground reservoir. Upgrading the access road to the existing Bukit Chupak Reservoir. TNB Sub Station for WTP and Raw Water
Intake Station. Installation of the chemical dosing system, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (“SCADA”), Telemetry System and other associated works. Supply, lay and commission of raw water pumping main from Bukit Chupak WTP to
the existing reservoir and treated water gravity main from the existing reservoir to Interconnection 1 and Interconnection 2.

Puncak Niaga is to commence work on 3 July 2023 and complete on 28 May 2024 with a defect liability period of twenty-four months.
