Sersol Demands CEO To Return To Office Within 1 Week

Wanted CEO Datuk Justin Lim who had been flagged by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission over alleged misappropriation of company funds has been asked to return to office within 1 week by the board of Sersol.

The company which earlier issued a statement saying the CEO’s whereabouts was unknown and that he was only abroad, now demands for the CEO to return to offie within 1 weel and that he had been absent from work since 18 July.

In a Bursa filing spotted by BusinessToday, the Sersol board also instructs the CEO to immediately give a written response and update the entire board in writing on what he had been doing in detail for and on behalf of the company on a weekly basis.

As such the company has also issued a Misconduct Notice dated 20 July 2023 to the CEO and said it is awaiting his response. Operational duties have been handed over to Tan Fie Jen who has been overseeing day-to-day business even before the appointment of the CEO.
