PKNS Targets RM1 Billion In Development Projects Next Year

The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) aims to reach RM1 billion in sales next year for residential and industrial projects, said its deputy chief executive officer (Property Development) Md Kamarzan Md Rais.

The developer said the target is achievable via its 15 projects in five areas, namely Selangor Cyber Valley in Cyberjaya, Antara Gapi in Serendah, Kota Puteri in Rawang, Bandar Sierra Alam in Shah Alam and Kota Kemuning Industrial Area.

“PKNS is targeting RM1 billion this year, but due to the slow economy, thus far we have only achieved RM600 million in sales.

“Hopefully the economy will improve next year and we will be able to launch the projects as planned,” Md Kamarzan said.

PKNS was established on August 1, 1965, under the Selangor State Development Corporation Enactment 1964, which acts as a housing, industrial, business, and investment development agency.

Selangor Cyber Valley, Cyberjaya, is strategically located between Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Klia2.
