Telekom Malaysia (TM) has recently made changes to the monthly subscription fees for its Unifi Home broadband plans.
The Unifi Home 2Gbps plan, initially priced at RM399 per month, has been increased to RM428.90 per month.
With this new pricing, subscribers will also receive a standard Netflix plan that allows viewing on two supported devices simultaneously.
Apart from the Netflix inclusion, the Unifi Home 2Gbps plan still offers access to the existing Unifi TV Ultimate Max package, which grants users access to 10 streaming apps, including Disney+ Hotstar, BBC Player, and iQiyi.
Additionally, customers will receive a free WiFi 6-certified Mesh device with this plan.
The 2Gbps plan was introduced in April, promising download speeds of up to 2Gbps and upload speeds of up to 1Gbps.
Similarly, TM has adjusted the price of its 1Gbps plan, which was initially priced at RM349 monthly, to RM378.90 monthly, also including the Netflix Standard subscription.
Subscribers to the 1Gbps plan will be offered a free six-month speed upgrade to 2Gbps.
Existing subscribers who have already signed up for the plans can retain their discounted pricing for the duration of their respective 24-month contracts.
However, new users are currently unable to opt-out of the additional Netflix subscription for both the 2Gbps and 1Gbps plans, which also come with 24-month contracts.
