Kinergy Advancement Berhad (“KAB”), a leading One-Stop Energy & Engineering Solutions Provider, is pleased to announce that the consortium of Salcon Berhad and KAB Smart Solar Energy Sdn. Bhd (“KSSE”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of KAB Energy Holdings Sdn Bhd (“KABEH”) has been selected as one of the solar power producers under the Corporate Green Power Programme (“CGPP”).
The Consortium, representing one of the 71 applications to date has been awarded the solar power producer under the CGPP, with an export capacity allocation of 7.00 MWac.
Presently, 563.42MWac has been awarded to 22 applicants of which the remainder 236.58MWac has yet to be assigned.

Within the consortium, KSSE has the right of first refusal for the EPCC and/or O&M services given its experience and prowess in the solar energy industry, which is further bolstered by KAB’s extensive expertise and demonstrated success in the SES segment.
