Bursa has informed that the short selling under the PDT and IDSS for stock AAX has been suspended for the rest of the day as the last last-done price of the Approved Securities dropped more than 15sen /15% from the Reference Price.
The short selling under the PDT and IDSS will only be activated the following trading day, Wednesday, 30 August 2023 at 08:30 am.
To note, AAX reported a 5 fold increase in revenue for the second quarter and remained profitable after a terrible 2 years since Covid-19. Analyst believe the share price drop is due to profit taking.
