BNM International Reserves At US$112.5 Billion As Of August 30

The international reserves of Bank Negara Malaysia amounted to USD112.5 billion as of 30 August 2023. The reserves position is sufficient to finance 5.2 months of imports of goods and services and is 1.0 times the total short-term external debt.

Gold and Foreign Exchange and Other Reserves including SDRs were at RM526 billion, Malaysian Government Papers at RM12.7 billion Loans and Advances RM23.7 billion Land and Buildings at RM4 billion while other assets at RM58 billion.
