The initiative to give media personals mobile rebates came to fruition when all major telecommunication operators namely CelcomDigi Berhad, Maxis Berhad, TM (Unifi Mobile), U Mobile Sdn Bhd, and YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (YES) agreed to support the Rahmah Postpaid Incentive.
In view of this, all telcos in conjunction with Malaysia Day will offer a one-off one-month rebate for the month of September, which will benefit over 10,000 media practitioners who hold an active Kad Perakuan Media from Jabatan Penerangan Malaysia.
The Insentif Pascabayar (Postpaid) RAHMAH Pengamal Media is a government initiative in collaboration with Malaysian telecommunication operators, aligned with the MADANI Economic framework, to support Malaysian media practitioners. The telcos will continue to work closely with the government to support the rakyat’s connectivity and digital needs.
