CelcomDigi Guides SMEs To Digitalise Business At MY5G SME Digital Workshop

CelcomDigi Berhad (CelcomDigi) kicked off its first MY5G SME Digital Workshop series designed to provide micro and small enterprises the opportunity to learn and identify suitable technologies and digital solutions for them to start their digital journey especially now with 5G connectivity being rolled out across the country.

Held in collaboration with SME Corp, Astro, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Kumpulan Siti Khadijah, Touch ‘n Go eWallet and WarongKu, the MY5G SME Digital workshop is a hands-on programme to equip participants with relevant tools and skills that will help them take the first step in digitalising their business. These local business owners and enterprises are also able to gain insights and experiences from the success stories and tips that will be shared by the programme partners.

The first workshop held in Kota Bharu today saw Padzilah Enda Sulaiman, founder of Siti Khadijah and Mohammad Munzir Aminuddin, Group Chief Executive Officer of Kumpulan Siti Khadijah sharing their experiences of how digitalising their business has taken them to where they are today. The panel of speakers also discussed various topics that can assist micro and small enterprises with their digitalisation journey, from financing, managing and operating an online business, to amplifying brand presence in the online space, engaging customers via social media as well as an introduction to e-commerce.

CelcomDigi’s Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Afizulazha Abdullah (pic) who launched the MY5G SME Digital Workshop 2023 said that it is no longer about why these local entrepreneurs should digitalise their business but how they can do it fast to be competitive and boost the productivity and efficiency of their business.

This MY5G SME Digital Workshop is part of the CelcomDigi MY5G Series, which includes a three-part MY5G CEO Roundtable programme, as well as an upcoming larger scale 5G business conference and tech showcase in Kuala Lumpur for all Corporate Malaysia and large SMEs, as the company continues its effort in helping businesses realise the benefits of digitalisation as well as 5G adoption and applications.

The next MY5G SME Digital Workshop 2023 will be held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in November and Alor Setar, Kedah in December.
