Malaysian Genomics CEO Steps Down After Seeing The Company Grow

Malaysian Genomics Chief Executive Officer Sasha Omar Firdaus has resigned from the company which he has been part of for more than a decade.

He was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in 2022 but has been the company’s Chief Operating Officer since 2014. Prior to joining the company, he was employed at Neuramatix Sdn Bhd, the previous ultimate holding company of Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre Berhad, for a period of 13 years.

Sasha has extensive experience in business development, project planning and management, product development, and strategic marketing. He has contributed to the growth of the Company including sourcing grant and public funds for research and development, maintaining communications with strategic stakeholders, and strategic planning

He has 86,100 ordinary shares which represent approximately 0.063% of the total issued share capital of the Company (137,210,480 ordinary shares) as of to date.
