MyEG Refutes Claims Of Illegally Renewing Foreign Worker Permits

MyEG whose contract to process foreign workers had been suspended has been accused by local media that the company continues to renew the permits.

In a statement released to Bursa, the company denied any of such incidents as alleged by mainstream media, the online processing site was said to be charging fees for foreign worker permits despite contract suspension”

It added the Board wished to clarify there has been no misrepresentation by MYEG in the services available on its online platform and that all services continue to be provided in accordance to the terms and conditions stipulated by the Government of Malaysia.

Furthermore, it also stated the statement made by Khoo Poay Tiong the Kota Melaka-Pakatan Harapan who alleged the wrongdoings is an opinion of his own.

The company shares were suspended today and resumed trading almost immediately based on the latest report.
