MK Land, Maju Perak Sign MOU On Potential Floating Solar Farm In The State

M K Land and Maju Perak Holdings Berhad have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on the possibility of developing floating solar farms in the state.

The objective of the MOU is to create a mutually beneficial working relationship to explore and identify the commercial issues involved, including but not limited to the assessment of risk, project viability, and sustainability, and technical issues, both directly and indirectly related to the development of floating solar farms in Perak.

MHB is an investment holding company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. MHB and its subsidiaries are primarily involved in property developments as well as maintenance and management contract services

The salient terms of the MOU include MHB or its subsidiaries intend to explore the commercial potential of setting up
floating solar farm on a selected area of the lake or water area located in the state of Perak. M K Land or its subsidiaries has the technical expertise and experience in the development, operation and maintenance of solar farm and is willing to collaborate with MHB or its subsidiaries during the initial period of exploration.
