IJM Construction Sdn Bhd has signed the Letter of Acceptance issued by Malaysia Rapid Transit System Sdn Bhd for the proposed design, construction, and completion of Package 2A Immigration Customs and Quarantine Complex and Package 2B ICQC External Works for Rapid Transit System Link Johor Bahru – Singapore.
The total contract sum for the RTS Link Project is RM1.1 billion and a provisional sum of RM155 million, which shall be inclusive of the prevailing Sales and Services Tax; the RTS Link Project is expected to be completed by 30 December 2026.
The group said the RTS Link Project is subject to the normal construction risk of material price fluctuations. However, with the past experience and expertise of IJMC in construction projects, these risks could be mitigated.
