Fiscal Deficit Projected To Decrease To 4.3% From 5.6% in 2022

The 2024 fiscal deficit is projected to decrease to 4.3 percent compared to target of 5 percent this year and 5.6 percent in 2022.

“In the medium term, we will achieve a fiscal deficit of 3 percent or lower to GDP as the benchmark is set in the MADANI Economic Framework to strengthen the Government’s commitment in strengthening governance and guarantee transparency and accountability.
