Ex-PM Muyhiddin Yassin Denies Any Involvement In MyAirline, Calls It Political Ploy

Former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muyhiddin Yassin has claimed that there are certain parties trying to link him to the failed airline MyAirline and has called on them to stop the dirty political tactic.

In a social media post titled The Reality of Media, the Bersatu Chief said, he found out that there was a party trying to link me to a scandal involving MYAirlines. He added that he had no affiliation with the airline or any of the company’s shareholders and claimed he had no knowledge of the background of the company.

According to him, MyAirline received conditional approval for the air service license on December 22, 2021, which was when he was no longer Prime Minister.

And said the Law firm Rosli Dahlan’s Saravana Partnership (RDS) involvement as a lawyer on behalf of MYAirlines shareholders is unrelated to him. RDS as a law firm has the right to represent anyone who needs its legal services he added.

The veteran politician went on to add he believes certain parties are trying to tarnish his good name by making malicious accusations.
