Taliworks Ropes In Local University To Study About Water

Taliworks Corporation Berhad is looking to establish relationships with a local university Unisel to explore opportunities in water supply including management of water treatment plant residuals through the campus’ Faculty of Engineering and Life Sciences.

Under this agreement, both parties aim to explore opportunities and exchange knowledge, research findings, and resources. This collaboration aims to combine the technical expertise and research capabilities of both parties for matching grants and publications, exchanging scholarly materials and information, as well as providing industrial placement for UNISEL students at Sungai Harmoni the subsidiary of the group.

Sungai Harmoni has been the operator of the Sungai Selangor Water Treatment Plant Phase 1 since 1993. SSP1, one of the biggest water treatment plants in Malaysia, supplies 20% of the potable water required by Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
