MHB Inks Supply Agreement With Tamaco Pole For RM5.3 Million

Mestron Holdings Bhd (MHB), an industry leader in the manufacturing and trading of steel poles, announced a supply agreement with Tamaco Pole Manufacturing Pte Ltd (Tamaco Pole), for a purchase order for various products of approximately RM5.3 million or SGD1.5 million.

Mestron’s managing director Por Teong Eng said partnering with an established leader like Tamaco Pole marks a significant milestone for the company in terms of our regional expansion goals.

“This collaboration is a strategic move to diversify our market reach beyond Malaysia and make inroads into the thriving Singaporean market, capitalising on the rising demand for high quality, innovative steel pole solutions,” he said in a statement today (Oct 25).

The supply agreement also represents a renewed partnership with Tamaco Pole after a supply agreement was signed in December 2022.

Por said this strategic alliance not only signifies Mestron’s growing international footprint but also enables the company to leverage Tamaco Pole’s over forty years of expertise and leadership in the supply of lighting steel pole-related business and consultancy advisory services.

“Our initial collaboration with Tamaco Pole last year laid the foundation for a partnership based on mutual growth, innovation, and commitment to quality,” he said adding the current agreement highlights trust and satisfaction that Tamaco Pole has in Mestron’s products and capabilities.

Por added added the agreement will support our revenue growth in the near term and put us in a strategic position to expand our network and presence in Singapore.

The agreement stipulates a progressive delivery schedule, with products being shipped to locations determined upon mutual agreement following the receipt of successive delivery memos.

Mestron is committed to fulfilling the entire delivery by 31 December 2024.
