Impiana Hotels Berhad’s board has informed Bursa that it is proposing to change its name from “Impiana Hotels Berhad” to “Magma Group Berhad”.
The proposed name “Magma Group Berhad” it said has been reserved with the Companies Commission of Malaysia on 16 October 2023 and is valid until 14 November 2023. The group said it will apply for an extension of time on the reservation for the proposed name for another 30 days before the expiry on 14 November 2023. However, it also noted the proposed Change of Name is subject to the approval of shareholders at the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting.
The Circular to Shareholders containing the details of the Proposed Change of Name will be issued to the Shareholders of the Company and will be shared in due course it added.
