CelcomDigi issued a statement on the service disruption that affected Celcom users in Pahang and Terengganu, the country’s largest network operator saying a minor fire incident earlier this morning was the cause.
The incident apparently disrupted services such as voice, SMS, and data services.
According to the statement, the services including voice services, SMS, and reloads have been restored in stages, and the telco is working towards restoring all remaining services as soon as possible.
It will share further information on service recovery and will be communicated to customers and the public across various channels including its websites and social media.
