Traffic Flow Into Klang Valley Smooth, So Far

Traffic flow on the main highway leading to the Klang Valley was reported to be smooth and under control as of 10 this morning, according to the Malaysian Highways Authority (LLM).

A spokesperson from the authority said the congestion only occurred along the two-kilometer stretch of the North-South Expressway (Plus) from Senawang to Port Dickson due to high traffic flow. “For other routes from the north, east and south coasts to the Klang Valley are under control and there is no unusual congestion. The same goes for the route out of the Klang Valley,” he said.

He also added that the traffic is expected to increase this afternoon as the people of the Klang Valley begin to return home after the Deepavali holiday. He advised highway users to comply with travel time recommendations issued to avoid any severe congestion
