GSC To Close Berjaya Times Square Cinemas

Operators of Berjaya Times Square’s movie halls, GSC has announced the closure of the cinemas effective 27 November with the last screening date to be 26 November. The announcement was posted on its social media.

The cinemas were first opened in 2005 and after 17 years GSC has decided to close it down as it has also operations in nearby Lalaport BBCC which is just next door.

Moviegoers in the vicinity have multiple options including KLCC and Pavilion to catch any of the latest blockbusters, BTS has lost its lustre over the years with much upgrading work needed, and the mall is now frequented by mostly foreigners who enjoy the cheap low end goods.
