Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow stated that the resignation of Dato’ Seri Lee Kah Choon as Special Investment Adviser to the Chief Minister was to avoid a conflict of interest after he was appointed as a Board Member in companies listed on the Stock Exchange, namely Federal Oats Mill Sdn. Bhd. was not informed in any meetings. He said the exchange of negotiations was presented and informed by UMECH in the Special Committee Meeting dated 28 November 2022, then presented by the PDC in the PDC Board Meeting No. 1/2023 dated February 9, 2023.
