Awantec Partners With Keduca To Introduce E-Learning Platform In Sarawak

AwanBiru Technology Berhad (Awantec) through its fully-owned subsidiary, Awantec Systems Sdn Bhd (ASSB), entered into a collaboration with Keduca Sdn Bhd (Keduca), owner and operator of Executive College, to introduce e-learning platform to tertiary students.

The collaboration between ASSB and Keduca, gives the opportunity for students in universities and colleges across Sarawak to be introduced to Skillsoft Percipio e-learning platform, an AI-driven online learning solution.

This platform is highly accessible and offers an affordable and user-friendly interface, complemented by the Rocheston Cybersecurity solution.

With the online learning platform made available to higher learning institutions and working adults, it can accelerate learning with a curated, high-quality skilling pathways mapped to the world’s most in-demand competencies.

In collaboration with ASSB, Rocheston offers cyber security training programmes designed for professionals looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity.

These programmes have been created by subject-matter experts who have gone through extensive research to create content that is practical and connects perfectly with current industry standards.

Awantec chief executive officer Azlan Zainal Abidin said in recent years, employers have increasingly seen a favour for all-around talent that is equipped with digital skills when it comes to recruiting new employees.

“With digitalisation going into full throttle post-pandemic, it is necessary for jobseekers to be highly skilled, adaptive, and resilient. The pandemic will continue to create a significant impact on businesses, and the country’s growth will depend on the future-ready workforce.

“The demand for highly specialised talent, particularly in areas such as the Internet of Things (IoT), software development, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, robotics, project migration, and change management, will be on the rise.

He said the partnership with Keduca through Executive College, a private higher educational institution in Kuching, Sarawak, is timely as it allows talents and organisations to fully unlock their tech skills and unleash their potential.

“It will also allow ASSB to extend our presence and provide training services throughout the East Malaysia market,” Azlan added.

The strategic partnership, the group said, will contribute to the talent development in East Malaysia, and is in line with the Twelfth Malaysian Plan (12MP) roadmap to develop and equip future talent with the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) skill sets.

“It also solidifies ASSB’s position as the trusted partner for technology and talent solutions provider by delivering both pertinent and cutting edge training solutions to talents and organisations.”
