BNM’s Financial Alert List Includes Firms Using HSBC And ASNB Names

Bank Negara has released its latest updated the Financial Consumer Alert list which include some canny names that use popular financial institutions like HSBC and Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad acronyms.

However, the list consists of companies and websites which are neither authorised nor approved under the relevant laws and regulations administered by the Central Bank. The Bank has advised people to take note that the list which is not exhaustive and serves as a guide to members of the public based on information and queries received.

The companies that has been added to the list include, ASNB Investment (not related to Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad), HSBC Bank Investment (not related to HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad), Pelaburan Berdaya, Millenium Capital Trading, Top Syariah, RaiseFX and Raise Sea Trading
