Ministers 20% Pay Cut Remains, PM No Pay

After splitting some ministries, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim unveiled his reformatted cabinet and confirmed that the pay cut announced when he took office will remain unchanged.

The Prime Minister evaluated his ministers and deputies after 1 year in office and made some significant changes, including a reshuffling of portfolios, which resulted in the removal of a Minister and a deputy.

Those joining the cabinet will have a 20% pay cut from day one, while Anwar will continue without a salary.
