Malaysia has witnessed an increase in Cabinet members from 28 to 31 following a strategic restructuring.
This overhaul involved the division of two ministries and the establishment of a new portfolio within the Prime Minister’s Department, reflecting a proactive effort to enhance governance efficiency.
The split ministries include the former Ministry of Communication and Digital, now divided into two distinct entities: the Ministry of Communication and the Ministry of Digital.
Fahmi Fadzil maintains his role as the Minister of Communication, while Gobind Singh Deo, Member of Parliament for Puchong, assumes the position of Minister of Digital.
