AMMB CEO Jamie Ling To Hand Over CFO Duties To Shafiq

AMMB Holdings Group Chief Executive Office Jamie Ling to hand over his CFO duties to newly appointed Shafiq who will be joining the bank after leaving Astro.

Shafiq will take over the duties from February onwards. Prior to joining Astro, he was the Group Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer (Malaysia) of CIMB Bank Berhad. Before joining CIMB, he was Executive Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a role he held having advanced from managerial positions in its Kuala Lumpur and London offices, where he provided assurance and advisory services to key clients listed on Bursa Malaysia and FTSE 100.

BusinessToday would like to apologise on the earlier post stating that Jamie Ling resigning as CEO of the group after joining for 3 months, the mistake is regrettable as Jamie is only relinquishing his CFO duties and not as CEO. The post has been subsequently removed.
