Proton’s New S70 Gains Over 4,000 Bookings

Proton Holdings Bhd, Malaysia’s national carmaker, has garnered an impressive response with over 4,000 bookings for its newly launched S70 compact sedan.

The substantial demand underscores the trust and enthusiasm customers have shown for this latest addition to Proton’s lineup.

Proton Deputy Chief Executive Officer Roslan Abdullah, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, stating, “After establishing leadership in the sports utility vehicle segment with models like the Proton X50, X70, and X90, we now bring our technological prowess to a new family sedan.” he told Bernama.

The Proton S70 was recently introduced in Sabah, and the company is now extending the excitement to the region of Sarawak.

Launched on November 28, the S70 compact sedan aims to sell over 3,000 units per month for the first year.

The delivery of the Proton S70 is scheduled for early next year, with the Premium and Flagship variants emerging as the most popular choices among consumers.
