Economic Minister Rafizi Ramli on this twitter now X post said all data released by the Unity Government is transparent and nothing is being hidden from the public.
Replying to a social media individual Aylin, who called the Minister of hiding certain data from the public and had asked the government to be more transparent, Rafizi said all data are available on Statistics Malaysia and is transparent.
The Minister said as for measuring inflation in the country and the data that is being released, he said the standard Malaysia adopts is similar to global standards and practised by most nations. Besides Malaysia’s economic data is released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia directly without any approval from the Ministry or Cabinet.
