Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Berhad declared an interim single tier dividend of 14.00 sen per ordinary share, amounting to RM117.22 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2023. The group said the dividend will be paid to shareholders on 2 February.
The declared dividend translates into a dividend yield of 3.8% based on the closing market price of the Group’s share of RM3.70 as at 28 December 2023.
Nor Azman Zainal, Group Chief Executive Officer of Takaful Malaysia, said, “The declared dividend reflects our financial strength, positive outlook, and commitment to shareholder returns. While investing in our business for innovation and growth remains a top priority, we recognise the significance of returning capital to our shareholders. The dividend underscores our confidence in the resilience of our operations and our commitment to delivering value to our shareholders.
