Tex Cycle Technology (M) Bhd (Tex Cycle) appointed Chiau Haw Yew as the new executive director effective Jan 1, 2024.
In a Bursa filing today, the group said Chiau, who is a 29-year-old graduate from La Trobe University, Australia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing in 2018, started his career in Chin Hin Group Bhd (Chin Hin).
“(At Chin Hin), he was assigned to the different divisions of the group from sales, marketing, procurement and business development.
“Subsequently, he moved on to the role of group sales and marketing director where he was responsible to drive collaboration and synergy across the various business units and ensure the alignment of marketing strategies with overall business goals of the group.
“In 2020, he was promoted to Midah Industries Sdn Bhd executive director and was responsible for the strategic and day-to-day operations.
Chiau has a direct interest in Tex Cycle with 160,000 ordinary shares.
