End Of 2023 Along The Chao Phraya River, Thailand

In the heart of Thailand, the Chao Phraya River becomes the canvas for an enchanting spectacle this December as the Tourism Authority of Thailand proudly presents “Vijit Chao Phraya 2023.”, where the riverbanks transform into stages for breathtaking performances, captivating both locals and visitors alike.

As the sun sets over the majestic Rama 8 Bridge (a cable-stayed bridge crossing the Chao Phraya River), the evening will start with a 3D laser show accompanied by mesmerising light and sound displays. Running daily from December 1st to the 31st, the bridge becomes a beacon of artistry from 7:00 p.m. to 09:35 p.m., painting the night sky with vibrant hues.

Santichaiprakan Park will be hosting the ‘Miracle of Thailand’ show on select dates throughout the month. From December 1-2, 7-9, 15-16, 22-23, and 29-30, the park comes alive with four rounds of enchanting performances starting at 07:30 p.m. and concluding at 09:00 p.m.

The iconic Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan (a Buddhist temple) then will take center stage with a dazzling Light Up or Light Mapping show every day in December. During this session, visitior will be able to immerse themself in the legends of the Giant of Wat Chaeng Thepsathit on the evenings of December 1-2, 7-9, 15-16, 22-23, and 29-30, as the riverbanks echo with cultural performances from 07.20 p.m. to 08.20 p.m.

Wichai Prasit Fort on the western bank of the Chao Phraya River in the Royal Thai Navy Headquarters has been said to become a symphony of lights with daily Light Up or Light Mapping shows throughout December. During this time, visitor can experience the magic of Projection Mapping and Water Curtain with Light & Sound on December 1-2, 7-9, 15-16, 22-23, and 29-30, enchanting spectators from 07.15 p.m. to 09.50 p.m.

Visitors should also prepare to be captivated by its nightly Illumination show with Light & Sound at the Memorial Bridge, running from December 1-31, every evening. Additionally, there will be fireworks display on December 1-2, 7-9, 15-16, 22-23, and 29-30, starting at 08:45 p.m.

The cultural journey continues at River City Bangkok, where Projection Mapping shows with Light & Sound unfold from December 1-31. Catch the six daily rounds, transforming the riverfront into a visual symphony from 07.00 p.m. to 09.15 p.m.

ICONSIAM, the crown jewel of the Chao Phraya, hosts a grand finale with its Light & Sound show three times a day from 6:30 p.m. to 9:10 p.m. throughout December. For further information, enthusiasts can contact the administrative division at Santichai Prakan Park.
