PADU Will Be Integrated With MyDID, Says Rafizi Ramli

Minister of Economy, YB Mohd Rafizi bin Ramli today (Jan 2) on X emphasised that citizens can commence the information update process on PADU immediately after the official launch, 12.30 PM.

“Yes, PADU will be integrated with MyDID.” Rafizi stated on X when asked regarding the integration of PADU and MyDID.

The PADU portal, accessible at http://padu.gov.my, is now live, with citizens encouraged to update their information for a more dynamic and accurate socio-economic database.

Addressing public inquiries about the integration, Rafizi confirmed that PADU will be integrate with MyDID, the Digital ID that serves as the Single Sign-On (SSO) enabler for all government services.

The minister of economy underscored the significance of citizens registering for the newly launched Digital ID, emphasising its role in providing a secure and unified authentication mechanism.

The integration with PADU ensures that citizens’ information is seamlessly connected across various government services, offering unparalleled convenience.

Rafizi assured the public that the integration of PADU with MyDID is part of the broader government technology initiative (GovTech) and will be implemented in stages. This phased approach reflects the government’s dedication to ensuring the reliability, security, and effectiveness of the integrated system.

As citizens eagerly await the benefits of this unique integration, the government emphasises its commitment to data security and privacy.
