PADU Fully Developed By Civil Servants Without Involvement Of 3rd Party – Rafizi Ramili

In response to claims made by Dr. Cher Han Lau, CEO of Accio Technologies, suggesting his company’s involvement in the development of the Main Data Database (PADU), Minister of Economy Rafizi Ramli has categorically denied these assertions.

After thorough verification with the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), Rafizi affirmed that Dr. Cher’s statements are baseless.

The PADU Analytics team had engaged Dr. Cher for upskilling purposes in data science, leveraging his proficiency in big data and machine learning.

However, his involvement was limited to this capacity and did not extend to the PADU development process, data collection, or cleaning.

Rafizi reiterated that PADU was entirely conceived and developed by civil servants, emphasising the absence of any third-party involvement in the project.
