TrueMoney, Malaysia’s leading e-wallet and digital payment platform, has announced a groundbreaking move by integrating DuitNow QR into its payment ecosystem.
This strategic enhancement enables TrueMoney users to enjoy seamless transactions across a wide range of merchants, including small stalls and retail outlets, that support the national QR standard.
To utilise the new DuitNow QR feature, TrueMoney e-wallet users can simply launch the TrueMoney app, select “Scan” on the homepage, and effortlessly make payments by scanning any DuitNow QR Code.
With a robust network boasting 22,000 merchants and 35,000 payment points nationwide as of 2024, TrueMoney Malaysia solidified its position as a key player in the fintech industry, experiencing significant growth since its launch in January 2023.

As part of the celebration, TrueMoney users, from January 15 to February 29, can not only enjoy the convenience of the new DuitNow QR Code acceptance but also participate in TrueMoney’s “Huat’s Up” Chinese New Year campaign. Users stand a chance to receive TrueAngpao by spending a minimum of RM28 through DuitNow QR merchants, TrueMoney merchants, bill payments, and mobile top-ups, adding an extra touch of significance to the festive season.
