PNB CEO Resigns, To Assume EPF Post After Feb 16

PNB CEO Ahmad Zulqarnain Onn has announced his resignation as the group’s President & Group Chief Executive with effective February 16, 2024 after the confirmation of being appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Employees Provident Fund.

His stint at PNB was three year where the board said he played important role in advancing PNB’s mandate, recording important business achievements and in fostering innovation.

Chairman of PNB Group, Raja Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Arshad Raja Tun Uda has given his appreciation to the Chief Executive for his contribution to PNB, ASNB and the PNB Group of companies throughout his service at the group.

The news of Ahmad Zulqarnain leaving PNB and being appointed to EPF was leaked yesterday, when foreign media reported on the possible movement. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told the press last week that candidates for the position had been already identified but will be going through profile check on their credibility before appointing them.
