Ranhill’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Ranhill Solar I Sdn Bhd says it has successfully completed and achieved the commercial operation date of its 50MWac Solar Photovoltaic Project under the Large Scale Solar Phase 4.
The Project will operate under a 25 years concession period and is the group’s first venture into asset ownership of large scale solar project and is part of the company’s pursuit in renewable energy. Ranhill expects the project to contribute positively to the future earnings for the next 25 years.
The Solar Project will mitigate 2,135,880.25 tons of CO2 emissions throughout its 25-year concession, contributing significantly to environmental sustainability. Ranhill is committed to pioneering sustainability by harnessing clean energy, reducing carbon footprint, and contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
