SNS Network Secures Deal To Provide Esri’s Geospatial Solutions In Malaysia

SNS Network Technology Berhad (SNS Network) has clinched a contract to provide Esri’s geographical information system (GIS) solutions in Malaysia.

In a statement, the company said it recently signed a partnership agreement with Esri Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Esri Malaysia), in which SNS Network is appointed as value added partner to market, distribute and sell the GIS Solutions in the country.

“This strategic alliance marks a significant step toward fostering smart city initiatives in Malaysia, leveraging Esri’s advanced GIS technology through the expansive network and expertise of SNS Network,” it said today (Feb 16).

SNS Network executive director Kelvin Pah said the with the appointment, the company will now be offering Esri’s GIS solutions as part of its ICT services and solutions.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Esri, the global market leader in GIS software, location intelligence, and mapping to offer the GIS Solutions to our existing and potential clients.

“This collaboration allows SNS Network to expand its ICT services and solutions to include the state-of-the art geospatial technology,” he said.

Established in 1969, Esri is the global market leader in GIS software, location intelligence, and mapping offering platform that helps organizations make informed decisions by effortlessly visualizing and analyzing spatial data.

Pah added: “By incorporating Esri geospatial technology into our offerings, we are not only meeting the evolving needs of our clients but also contributing to the advancement of smart city planning in Malaysia.”

Esri Malaysia chief executive officer Tan Choon Sang said the company look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with SNS Network.

“SNS Network is a leading ICT system and solutions provider with extensive sales channel and customers in Malaysia. We are confident our new partner will be able to help us to market our GIS solutions to the right target market,” he added.
