The chairman highlighted key factors contributing to this growth trajectory, citing key contributors heightened Halal awareness and adoption among consumers and businesses, political stability, conducive investor environments, technological innovation in the Halal supply chain, commitment to gold standards in Halal certification and the upcoming World Expo 2025 in Osaka, as highlighted by the chairman.

Additionally, HDC is encouraging Malaysian businesses, especially Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), to venture into the Halal market opportunities between Malaysia and Japan. Other than exporting Malaysian products to Japan, this move also positions Malaysia as a Halal hub for Japanese companies seeking to tap into the global Halal market.
