Malaysia To Showcase Aerospace Capabilities At Singapore Aviation Show 

National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO Malaysia) is gearing up to showcase Malaysia’s aerospace prowess at the Singapore Airshow 2024. This move underscores Malaysia’s commitment to solidifying its position in the global aerospace sector.

The participation of NAICO Malaysia in this premier event signifies a significant milestone for the country’s aerospace industry, aiming to highlight its advancements, forge global partnerships, and attract investments to propel Malaysia towards becoming the aerospace hub of Southeast Asia.

NAICO CEO Ts. Shamsul Kamar Abu Samah expressed the importance of engaging with international companies and OEMs to expand Malaysia’s global footprint and enhance industry capabilities through strategic partnerships. “We will engage with several international companies, including those from Japan, China, Canada, France, USA and the UK, as well as numerous original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers. These interactions are pivotal in expanding our global footprint and enhancing our industry’s capabilities through strategic partnerships.” he said.

The Malaysia Pavilion, featuring ten leading aerospace companies and three government agencies, demonstrates the nation’s dedication to excellence and innovation.

In line with the Malaysian Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030, severa’ Memorandum of Understandings will emphasise collaboration, while an investment seminar by the Malaysian Investment Development National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia Authority (MIDA) and a Roundtable Meeting hosted by Invest Selangor will showcase lucrative opportunities within Malaysia’s aerospace sector.
