Swift Haulage Berhad (Swift) has officially launched its Eco-Friendly Warehouse and Haulage office in Westport. The launch coincides with the signing of an Integrated Logistics Services Agreement with Sharp Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for warehousing, storage, and handling services.
The new warehouse, strategically located just 5.5 kilometers from Westport, boasts a warehouse capacity of 269,000 square feet and 26 loading bays. It is equipped to handle the most demanding logistics needs with a storage capacity of 11,544 pallets and a floor storage capacity of 169,000 square feet.
What sets the new warehouse apart is its eco-friendly features, certified by Green Business Certification Inc. by World Bank Group. These features include solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems, and materials with reduced embodied carbon, demonstrating Swift’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Additionally, Swift has launched a new haulage office covering an area of 8,000 square feet, complemented by a state-of-the-art workshop spanning over 10,000 square feet. The workshop features 10 bays dedicated to prime mover repair and maintenance, ensuring the fleet remains in top condition for efficient logistics operations.

In response, Sharp Electronics Malaysia, Managing Director, Mr. Ting Yang Chung, emphasised the importance of collaboration with Swift for warehouse optimization. He highlighted the integration of warehouse management systems and cutting-edge smart logistics solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
