CTOS Offering Free Credit Report For Limited Time

CTOS is offering free MyCTOS Report with CCRIS to consumers as part of their continuing goal of empowering the public to take charge of their credit health. The campaign will run from the 21 st February until 21 st March 2024 and is applicable for those who sign up for the CTOS self-check service via the CTOS website.

In addition, the agency has also included partners RinggitPlus and iMoney will also join by publicising the campaign to further amplify consumer awareness.

The MyCTOS Report with CCRIS provides significantly more information than a basic CCRIS report, as it includes proprietary CTOS information such as details on legal cases, bankruptcies, directorships, business interests, and non-bank debts (trade references), in addition to the standard CCRIS figures (debt data, payment histories for loans and credit cards, account balances, credit limits and inquiries). Financial institutions and lenders rely on this data to assess credit applications.

“Major festive seasons are times when we tend to spend more. As a nation, we have just celebrated Chinese New Year and Raya is around the corner, making it even more important to know our financial situation. An easy way of understanding your current credit commitments is by checking your credit report. Through the free MyCTOS with CCRIS campaign, we can give a helping hand to consumers to understand their credit capacity, detect potential fraud, and assist them to make better financial plans for a better future,” explained Erick Hamburger, Group CEO of CTOS Digital Berhad.
