Kerjaya Optimistic To Conclude The Year Positively

Kerjaya Prospek Property Berhad announced its third quarter results with revenue rising 21.4% to RM99.3 million from RM81.8 million in the preceding year’s corresponding period. The higher revenue it said was primarily attributed to the 24.6% growth achieved by the property development segment, from RM68.1 million to RM84.8 million.

The hospitality segment also recorded higher revenue, from RM12.6 million to RM13.1 million, due to higher revenue from the hosting of events and banquets. The Group posted profit before tax and profit after tax of RM29.8 million and RM23.9 million respectively for Q3FYE2024.

For the cumulative nine-months period ended 31 December 2023, KPPROP’s revenue increased 10.3%, year-on-year, from RM256.6 million to RM283.0 million. The surge was driven by the property development segment’s 11.2% revenue growth, as well as a 3.3% improvement from the hospitality segment. In line with the higher revenue, the PAT was RM68.5 million.

KPPROP executive chairperson Datin Toh Siew Chuon commented, “Given our nine months financial performance, we are cautiously optimistic that we will conclude the year on a positive note, augmented by the completion of our mixed development project.
