MAFS Mega Agriculture Expo Returns

The PAKAR Pertanian Expo is preparing to showcase its latest innovations and sustainable practices in the agriculture industry. Malaysia’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, will inaugurate the event, which is in its second edition, taking place from March 1st to 3rd at MAEPS Serdang, Selangor.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has acknowledged and endorsed this year’s PAKAR Pertanian Expo, with significant involvement from key departments such as the Department of Agriculture (DOA), Department of Fishery Malaysia (DOF), and Department of Veterinary Services (DVS).

This collaborative approach ensures a thorough examination of various facets within the agriculture sector, reinforcing the expo’s role as a central platform for fostering industry collaboration and advancement.

Additionally, the expo will be featuring over 200 exhibitors from countries such as Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Australia, and the USA. The expo offers an international display of over 1,000 brands. With a wide array of products and attractive offers, the event endeavors to offer visitors a thorough understanding of the global agricultural landscape and the advancements influencing its future.

This year’s expo will present an improved and varied seminar program consisting of 70 sessions covering a broad range of topics. These sessions will address vital areas such as crop cultivation, fertilization techniques, IoT applications in farming, and smart farming practices. The seminars will explore important themes including agricultural technology, high-value farming methods, agrotourism, circular economy principles, supply chain management, workplace safety, cross-border export strategies,

One of the highlights of the event is the Farm Clinic, offering free farming consultancy to attendees. Furthermore, the PAKAR Pertanian Expo has introduced an updated Farm2Store initiative, offering farmers and agropreneurs access to an innovative online marketplace. This platform enables them to exhibit and sell their products to potential trade buyers, importers, or exporters.

The current expo is held alongside the Asia Supply-Chain Expo and Lab+Bio Exhibition (Food Edition), providing a unique platform focused on the complete food supply ecosystem, emphasizing sustainability.
