Aerodyne Opens Flight School To Nurture Future Talents

Aerodyne Group has revealed the Aerodyne Flight Institute (AFI) in Cyberjaya, marking a significant milestone in industry-focused technological education and innovation. This initiative underscores Aerodyne’s commitment to addressing the evolving needs of industries, including AI, big data, cybersecurity, and more. AFI is strategically positioned to cultivate a workforce equipped to tackle these challenges, thus contributing to Malaysia’s Digital Transformation agenda.

AFI epitomises Aerodyne’s vision of empowering the next generation with critical skills for key domains. The institute offers an industry-driven curriculum covering emerging fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

These offerings complement the existing CAAM-certified Remote Pilot Certificate of Competency (RCOC) module, ensuring alignment with industry needs and technological advancements.

The official launch of AFI was graced by the Honourable Minister of Human Resources of Malaysia, Tuan Steven Sim Chee Keong, signifying the government’s support for this groundbreaking initiative. Aerodyne, Founder and Group CEO, Kamarul A Muhammed, Founder, expressed the institute’s ambition to become a leading center for AI, Data, and Drone education, training, and research, with aspirations for regional and global recognition. He emphasised AFI’s role in nurturing competitive talents prepared to innovate in drone technology, AI, and data analytics.

The launch event, attended by a diverse network of partners, including industry leaders, universities, customers, ecosystem players, and investors, was officiated by YB Steven Sim.

This marks a pivotal step towards fulfilling Aerodyne’s vision of positioning Malaysia at the forefront of the digital economy. Since 2022, Aerodyne has trained over 1,000 certified drone pilots and data professionals, reaffirming its pivotal role in shaping the future of the industry.
