Lotte Chemical Titan Malaysia has clarified on the recent report by news media in Korea over the parent company Lotte Chemical Corporation’s plan in disposing its loss making unit in Malaysia.
The new title “Lotte puts Lotte Chemical Titan in Malaysia on market” published by The Korea Economic Daily on 6 March 2024 and similar news published in other media platforms was in reference to the proposed sale by Lotte Chemical Corporation of its interest in the Company.
Lotte Malaysia said that after making due enquiry, it was made to understand that LCC is considering various strategic measures related to the Company without making any decision thus far.
The company said will make the necessary announcement as required by the Main Market Listing Requirements should there be any further update.
