SAP Appoints Vipin Chandran As Managing Director

SAP SE (SAP) has announced the appointment of Vipin Chandran as the new Managing Director of SAP Malaysia. With over 25 years of extensive experience in business leadership, Chandran brings a wealth of expertise in building successful teams, nurturing partnerships, and driving effective cloud transformations for clients.

In his new role, Chandran will focus on enhancing the digital transformation capabilities of Malaysian organizations and accelerating their growth within the burgeoning AI economy.

Additionally, he aims to assist businesses in constructing resilient and flexible supply chains while fostering a more sustainable future.

“Malaysia’s digital economy continues to thrive, representing over 23 percent of the country’s GDP last year,” Chandran said.

“The recent Budget highlights the government’s commitment to further bolster its position as a regional digital powerhouse.

I am excited to lead SAP Malaysia during this pivotal moment and collaborate closely with both public and private sector entities to navigate this evolving landscape,” he added.

Chandran’s tenure at SAP dates back to 2008, where he previously served as Chief Partner Officer for SAP Southeast Asia, overseeing the success of over 500 partner organizations. Prior to that role, he held various leadership positions in sales, services, and partnerships across diverse regions.
