Seven Local Start-Ups Selected To Join Cyberview Living Lab® Accelerator Programme

Cyberview’s Living Lab Accelerator (CLLA) Programme has recently selected seven local start-ups that are looking to accelerate their business development and growth to commercialise innovations for smart cities.

This includes technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and robotics as well as digital and data-centric solutions for smart and green living, among others.

The start-ups are MengajiOnline, NexoPrima, MindnRobotics, SOLVNEX, SmartPeep, Bual Design, and BriqBloq.

These companies are undergoing a five-month programme designed to support their research and development, with a focus on achieving Product-Market-Fit, to ensure meeting market demands.

They will also have the opportunity to network and connect with relevant industry experts, both domestic and international markets through private and public initiatives with the support of Cyberview.

Shafinaz Salim, Head of the Technology Hub Development Division Cyberview said: “In line with the Madani Economy Framework, Cyberview supports the government’s commitment towards start-ups through the Cyberview Living Lab Accelerator programme. Being one of the longest running accelerator programmes in Malaysia, we have seen many alumni making significant contribution to the ever-expanding tech ecosystem of Cyberjaya and the country’s digital economy. Evolving with the landscape’s demand, we are always on the look-out for solutions employing the latest in technology, such as generative AI and robotics.

“We have come a long way, and will continue to support these companies, not only for the testing of their solutions in Cyberjaya but in expanding into new markets.”

Start-ups under the 2024 cohort will enjoy incentives over RM100,000 per start-up throughout the programme, including rent-free workspace at Colnnov8 – Cyberview’s soft landing zone, business advisory, and mentoring to develop viable business models and gain market access. At the end of the 5-month period, the start-ups will pitch and showcase their solutions at a Demo Day to potential investors, partners, and the media.

The CLLA programme has nurtured over 98 start-ups, attracted investments exceeding RM255 million and generated over RM792 million revenue over the past decade. The programme has also created more than 1,400 jobs. Among its successful alumni include TheLorry, MoneyMatch, MEDKAD, MHub, Supagene, Monsta, BillPlz, Trackerhero and among others.

Whether it is harnessing the power of technologies, or creating solutions to address pressing challenges, the CLLA programme offers a platform for funding, partnerships, market validation, market access and commercialisation.

The Seven Start-ups are:

MindnRobotics is pioneering a future where seamless integrated technology solutions elevate industries and human experiences. They service industries seeking customised robotics, IoT, and system solutions for enhanced efficiency, innovation and automation.

SOLVNEX is developing an AI-powered platform that matches corporates and businesses with gig professionals, or short-term skilled talents by effectively simplifying and minimising the whole hiring processes, saving time and budget of hirers.

SmartPeep is an AI health-tech company that develops automated monitoring systems to prevent accidents and assist healthcare professionals.

Bual Studio is a content agency that help boost brand messages and positioning through content animation.

BriqBloq delivers critical and transparent information in the commercial real estate ecosystem through centralized communication hub.
